MOUNTAIN AFADJA
Embark on an unforgettable day trip to the Volta Region of Ghana to explore the awe-inspiring Mountain Afadja, situated near Liati Wote and Gbledi. With a local guide leading the way, embark on a trek to the summit of the highest peak in Ghana. The trek takes approximately 1-2 hours, depending on your fitness level and pace.
As you ascend, immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes of verdant forests and enjoy occasional glimpses of nearby villages. Upon reaching the summit, standing at an impressive 885 meters (2,904 feet), marvel at the sweeping panoramic views that stretch as far as the eye can see. Capture photos of the breathtaking scenery and take a moment to appreciate the grandeur of nature.

TAFI ATOME MONKEY SANCTUARY – WLI WATERFALLS
After breakfast, you will embark on tour to the Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary. This sanctuary is home to monkeys, including the Mona and Patas species, and offers a chance to observe and interact with them in their natural habitat. The trip includes a guided walk through the forest, feeding the monkeys, and learning about the sanctuary's conservation efforts. You'll also have cultural interactions with the local Ewe people.
After lunch on your own, continue your tour to the awe-inspiring Wli Waterfalls and conquer the magnificent Mountain Afadja. Embark on a scenic hike through the Agumatsa Wildlife Sanctuary to reach the Lower Wli Waterfalls. Follow the well-marked trail, surrounded by lush greenery and diverse flora and fauna. Your knowledgeable guide will share interesting information about the local ecosystem along the way. After approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, you'll be re warded with the breathtaking sight of the 60-meter (197-foot) cascade of the Lower Wli Waterfalls. Take in the sheer power and beauty of the falls, and if you're feeling adventurous, dip your feet into the cool pools below.

VOLTA – WOME WATERFALL - KPALIME – LOME - TOGO
After breakfast, check out of your hotel for Togo. Enroute stop at the Cascade de Womé, located in the green hills of Togo, is a beautiful waterfall known for its peaceful and scenic setting. Tucked away in a tropical forest, this stunning waterfall flows gently over rocky cliffs, creating a sparkling cascade of water. The area around the waterfall is rich with plants and animals, adding to its charm.
Visitors to the Cascade de Womé are often enchanted by the calming sounds of the falling water and the unspoiled beauty of the surroundings, making it a perfect spot for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Continue your drive to Lome afterwards.

LOME CITY TOUR - TOGOVILLE
After breakfast, embark on a city tour of Lome. Drive by the Musée National (National Museum), as well as the Place de I’ Independence (Place of Independence, where the Independence Monument is situated). Visit Grand Marche (Grand Market) and Marche des Feticheurs (Fetish Market).
After lunch on your own, visit to Togoville, a town about an hour away from the capital city Lome. Cruise on the Lake to the 17th Century Catholic Cathedral, which hosted Pope Paul during his visit to Togo, as well as the 5 main voodoo shrines on the island.

LOME – OUIDAH – COTONOU
After breakfast, check out and depart for a visit to Ouidah, the cradle of African Traditional Religion, en-route to Cotonou. Tour the temple dedicated to the sacred Python, which is believed to give vitality and protection; you will also pay a visit to the sacred forest which houses many shrines dedicated to various deities.
Afterwards, visit the Port of No Return; a monument built by the Benin Government to commemorate the Africans that were taken from the Dahomey Empire during the Slave Trade. Continue the journey northwards to Cotonou. Check in at hotel and relax.

COTONOU – GANVIE - COTONOU
After breakfast, depart your hotel and embark on a sensational visit to Ganvie (the village on water), commonly referred to as the Venice of West Africa. Witness first hand, the people of Ganvie carrying out their daily routine as vendors in dugout canoes pile high with wares, transacting commerce with one another and with tourists.
You will enjoy shopping on the floating market and taking a relaxing canoe ride on the waterways of this exotic 300-year-old village. After lunch on your own, drive through the multi-colored center of the administrative and commercial capital of Benin to view its many statues and monuments.

COTONOU – BLACK RIVER ADJARA – PORT NOVO - COTONOU
After breakfast, depart your hotel and experience a scenic drive through the City of Port Novo. Explore La Rivière Noire d’Adjarra, also known as the Black River, one of Benin Republic’s most popular tourist attractions, renowned for its beautiful setting, astonishing biodiversity, and fascinating history.
According to legend, locals used the river as a hiding place during conflicts with invaders. Take a raft or boat ride on the river, enhancing your experience of the serene landscape. Along its banks, you can see large trees where palm wine (Le vin de raphia) is extracted, with opportunities to taste and purchase this local delicacy. Additionally, you will observe a unique, environmentally friendly style of fishing, as large nets are prohibited to protect the river's green and sustainable ecosystem.

FAREWELL DEPARTURE
After breakfast, spend the day shopping and doing last minute packing. At noon, check out of the hotel and transfer to airport for check-in and final departure back home.
