This tour starts with a visit to the W.E.B Du Bois Center dedicated to the American Civil Rights leader and Pan-Africanist, W.E.B Du Bois.

This experience takes you through various landmarks such as the refurbished Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, Independence/Black Star square, the bustling Makola market, the Arts Center and finally a drive tour of Jamestown, a historic fishing community in Accra.

slave dungeons experience - cape coast and elmina castle

Drive up to the Central region, the former capital of Ghana, and embark on a tour of the infamous forts, castles, and slave dungeons of the country.

Visit the Cape Coast Castle built by the Swedes in 1653 and was later taken over by the British. This experience also takes you to Elmina Castle, also known as  St. George’s Castle.

At these UNESCO World Heritage sites, you will learn about the history of the transatlantic slave trade, stand in dungeons the enslaved were force to live in before their long and perilous passage across the Atlantic.
